Accupressure Sinus Pressure Point Therapy

There are certain points on the body, which on pressure stimulation can release neurochemicals that relieve pain and muscular tension around them. Applying pressure on sinus points encourages mucus to move to the nasal cavities. The sinus pressure points are also known as sinus reflex points or Shiatsu pressure points.

Acupressure or sinus pressure points can treat sinus problems or even prevent them. The pressures are applied with forefingers in round movement. You can expect quick sinus pressure relief within a few minutes, even form chronic sinusitis symptoms.

Sinus Pressure Points
  1. Sinus pressure points 1 at the corner of the nostrils: Apply pressure in round direction for 4 - 5 minutes.
  2. Sinus pressure points 2, just below the corner of the eyes near the nose: Apply pressure on both eyes at the same time for 4 - 5 minutes. These points are good for the ethmoid sinuses.
  3. Sinus pressure points 3, just below the ear behind the earlobe: Apply pressure for 4 - 5 minutes. These points are for sphenoid sinuses.
  4. Sinus pressure points 4, on the earlobe: Apply pressure for 4 - 5 minutes with finger and thumb.
