Pressure Points To Get Relief From Sinus

There are certain points on the body, which on pressure stimulation can release neurochemicals that relieve pain and muscular tension around them. Applying pressure on sinus points encourages mucus to move to the nasal cavities. The sinus pressure points are also known as sinus reflex points or Shiatsu pressure points.

  1. points 1 at the corner of the nostrils: Apply pressure in round direction for 4 - 5 minutes.
  2. points 2, just below the corner of the eyes near the nose: Apply pressure on both eyes at the same time for 4 - 5 minutes. These points are good for the ethmoid sinuses.
  3. points 3, just below the ear behind the earlobe: Apply pressure for 4 - 5 minutes. These points are for sphenoid sinuses.
  4. points 4, on the earlobe: Apply pressure for 4 - 5 minutes with finger and thumb.
