Method of Making Stuffed Toraii Recipe भरवां तुरई, Ghia Turai

Vegetable Curry Recipes

Preparation Time: 25 minutes

Ingredients

  • Ghia Torii (Zucchini), 4
  • Canola oil or olive oil, 1 tsp
  • Lime Juice, 2 tsp

Spices

  • Red chili Powder, 3/4 tsp
  • Coriander Powder, 2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder, 1/8 tsp
  • Salt to taste

Directions

  1. Wash the turai. Cut into 1.5" pieces. Make a slit at one long side of each zucchini piece. keep aside.
  2. In a bowl, mix all the spices with lime juice.
  3. Fill the spice mixture in the slit of each zucchini piece and close gently.
  4. Heat a non-stick pan and spary oil. Add all the zucchini pieces, and cover 3/4th of the pan. Cook for 6-7 minutes over medium heat or till the pieces become tender. Change the sides of the zucchini pieces and again cook for 6-7 minutes.
